A native of Randolph County, NC, Shaun L. Hayes has spent many years working with individual clients and business entities.

Attorney Shaun L. Hayes is the owner and operator of Hayes Attorney PLLC in Asheboro, NC, and has over fifteen (15) years of legal experience and/or exposure in practice and law school.  In that capacity, Shaun has previously managed multiple employees and another Attorney in various areas of the practice of law.  During his tenure, he has represented clients across a broad spectrum including individuals, small to mid-sized businesses, banks/financial institutions, and a former Speaker of the House of North Carolina.  His main areas of legal professional concentration include Elder Law, Business Law, and Family Law.  Shaun has represented thousands of clients and fully litigated over 750 courtroom trials from beginning to end, the majority being of a civil nature in both District and Superior Courts in North Carolina.  Shaun has represented clients in 10 different counties in North Carolina.  His experience is vast in the ability to deal with people and solve complex problems.  To obtain business experience to better serve business clients, Shaun spent an approximate year employed in the financial services industry with a multinational business and obtained his MBA.  To obtain practical elder care experience, Shaun spent 80 hours in an Assisted Living Facility learning about and observing the operations of elder care.

Shaun holds a Juris Doctorate (Law Degree) professional degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, an MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) from Methodist University, and a BS (Bachelors of Science-Criminal Justice) from Appalachian State University; wherein he graduated Summa Cum Laude (highest honors) ranking 22^nd out of a graduating class of an approximate 1800.  He was inducted into several educational honor societies during his educational tenure in both the undergraduate and master’s programs, and passed the North Carolina Bar Examination upon his first attempt.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina.  Shaun has held multiple leading positions on multiple boards, among those including the Randolph County Partnership for Children.  He engages regularly in community service.  He is also a former Elected Official of Randolph County, NC.  At home, aside from spending time with family, Shaun likes to engage in construction projects he has not done before to be reminded of the process of continual learning and learning from failure.  He also enjoys regular exercise, snow skiing, fishing, and sports.
